Duncan has held multiple senior operating positions in biotech over the past 20 years and has served on multiple boards.  Duncan was the Chief Operating Officer of Agios Pharmaceuticals from 2009 to 2016. He served as Executive Vice-President, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer at Archemix Corporation from 2006 to 2009. Prior to Archemix, Duncan was the Chief Commercial Officer at TransForm Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately-held biotechnology company which was acquired by Johnson & Johnson Company. He has served on the boards of Jounce, Rheos, and Auron, and was Chairman of the Board of Akamis for 7 years. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from King’s College University of London and an M.Sc. in Economics from London Business School.
